Yuval Krausz will offer his stories of Israel — from the perspective of an Israeli! He’ll talk about politics, culture and his views of the future of the Jewish State in this no-holds barred discussion. A kosher lunch will be served. The program is open to all and there is a suggested donation of $5.00 per person.

 

 

 

Pave Your Path

Starting mid April, come to a weekly social skills group for pre-teens, 11 to 13 years old! This group is facilitated by Dr. Alison Morgan who is a counseling psychologist specializing in helping children and adolescents learn effective and productive social skills. She has run groups at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick and has been in private practice in Princeton Junction for more than 13 years.

Date: April 13 – May 25
Time:  Thursday afternoon from 4:30pm until 5:30pm
Location: 707 Alexander Road, Suite 102, Princeton NJ
Cost: 7 sessions $225*

*No one turned away due to inability to pay.
May be covered by insurance.

New participants must complete an intake assessment prior to group start. The intake has a cost of $50 which will be applied to the program fee if the group is a good fit.

J-Serve: Jewish Teens Serving The World

Join local Jewish 6th-12th grade teens for an International Day of Jewish Youth Service & National Mitzvah Day!

Earn community service hours by participating in J-Serve, Jewish teens serving the world. Do anything from cooking meals for those in need, or creating craft projects for sick kids to helping prepare the JCC camp facilities for the upcoming summer season!

A look at the Bible — from the perspective of a rationalist! As Rabbi Wisnia says, “We take the Torah seriously, not literally.” Join the Rabbi for a discussion of what this bit of “Wisnistolelian logic” means for our view of the Passover story. Bad Girls & Boys of the Bible

Join JFCS for a special program at Congregation Brothers of Israel, for an informative and casual presentation about characters in the Bible and their continued relevance to modern family life and aging in today’s world. Our very own Chaplain, Beverly Rubman, will be the presenter.

Jewish Bereavement Group

Following the death of a loved one, each of us moves in our own time and in our own way, through a process of grief, mourning and adjustment. But we do not have to grieve alone. This is a weekly group in which members converse openly and support one another through the grief process. Open to any Jewish adult, regardless of affiliation, who has lost a loved one within the past 18 months. This group will be facilitated by Chaplain Beverly Rubman.
